ABOUT US

WHO I AM

Hello I’m Patrizia a funny retired woman, since 2009. I have two older children, living alone and independent.

I have many interests and many friendships, but my preferred passions are travelling and my work as a clown in a children hospital.

I have travelled all over the world and I have appreciated many different cultures and I also had the opportunity to know many people.

Travelling I experienced many different hotel structures from which I took the best when I decided to begin my own business with Domus Trastevere

I really enjoy to accommodate tourists coming from all over the world and share with them the roman life style: drink and appetizer in a characteristic place, visiting a niche museum not yet discovered by mass tourism

In my spare time I like to take care of hospitalized children, together with other volunteers, and entertain them as a clown to draw a smile

THE DISTRICT

The most suitable adjective to describe the district where Domus Trastevere is situated is charming ! There is all what count to really know Rome out from conventional fixed pattern of mass tourism

Among them : the fantastic Porta Portese sunday market, the popular disctricts of Trastevere and Testaccio, both charming day and night with their squares and places. The river Tevere flows nearby the two districts and all its ancient and fantastic bridges are worth a visit.

Recent upcoming trendy district is Ostiense with Eataly, the corner stone of excellence in foods, drinks, and gourmet life style. Also the new district Via del porto Fluviale (river port of Rome) is coming out with its charme of ex industrial site, the right place to spend an amazing evening in the latest “à la page”clubs.

Last but not least: did you kwow Rome has a pyramid? It’s really true and it’s very close to Domus Trastevere.
